When you plan your wedding at Zion-Memorial you will be working with a team that has decades of experience planning and leading wedding ceremonies. They will work closely with you to create a deeply meaningful and memorable ceremony. A wedding that you will always remember.
For more information, contact our Church Administrator, Andrew, or our Minister, Rev. Sherwin.
Baptisms
Baptism is a sacred action, one of two sacraments (along with communion) in the United Church. We take care to plan every baptism with the individual being baptized and their family. We take the time to prepare the participants for this special moment.
If you are interested in learning more about baptism at Zion-Memorial, please contact Rev. Sherwin.
Confirmation & Membership
Joining a church is an important decision, one that should be made carefully and thoughtfully. At Zion-Memorial we welcome new members by Confirmation, Affirmation of Faith, and Re-Affirmation of Faith according to the circumstances of the individual wishing to join our congregation. Every membership ceremony is a Joyful celebration of spiritual community!
Memorial Services
The death of someone you love is always difficult, whatever the person's age or circumstances. Planning a Memorial or a Celebration of Life Service while dealing with grief and shock can be overwhelming. We are here to help. If you need help planning a farewell for a family member or friend, please contact our minister, Rev. Sherwin.
Pastoral Care
Life can be difficult. All of us, at one time or another, need help and support. Whether you need a listening ear, help with a practical problem, or the comfort of knowing that you are being held in prayer, we want to 'be there' for you.
If you are in need, let us know. Contact our minister, Rev. Sherwin for a confidential conversation about how Zion-Memorial might be able to help you.
