Comfort Quilters

Comfort Quilters, Carleton Place, was formed in 2007 to share comfort and warmth, with the gift of a handmade lap quilt, to someone in our community facing difficult times. Our quilts have been donated to the CPDMH, LCHomes, Army Navy, CP Legion, Youville Centre and local churches. We have received donations of fabric from various sources over the years but would greatly accept donations of quilting thread, batting, backing fabric or a little cash so that we might continue to gift. We are a small group of gals that meet Tuesday mornings at 9-12 at Zion Memorial United Church for fun, laughter and stitching therapy. We would love to have you join us. No experience necessary.
